WiDeS at ASILOMAR
Nov. 4-7th, 2012

WiDeS organizes session on wireless video delivery at ASILOMAR 2012. The Asilomar Conference on Signals, Systems, and Computers is a yearly Conference held on the Asilomar Grounds. It provides a forum for presenting work in various areas of theoretical and applied signal processing, and is co-sponsored by the IEEE Signal Processing Society.  Andy Molisch put together an invited session that featured talks on "Enhanced Adaptive Streaming over LTE-Advanced Wireless Networks" (Intel), "Subcarrier Mapping Based on Slice Visibility for Video Transmission over OFDM Channels" (UC San Diego), "Prioritized Multimode Precoding for Joint Minimization of Source-Channel Video distortions" (UT Austin), and "Device-to-device Communications for Wireless Video delivery" (USC).
