Hassan Abou Saleh

Hassan ABOU SALEH was born on April 18, 1984 in Beirut, Lebanon. He received the B. Eng. degree in electrical engineering from the American University of Beirut (AUB) in June 2006. In August 2008, he received his Master’s from Concordia University, Montreal, Canada. He is now a Ph.D. candidate at Queen’s University, Kingston, under the supervision of Steven D. Blostein. Since August 20, 2010, he is a visiting student at the University of Southern California (USC) working with Andreas F. Molisch. He is the recipient of a Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) Postgraduate Scholarship (PGS D3), and a Best Paper Award at IEEE ICC 2009, Dresden, Germany. He has authored, co-authored some 4 journal papers, and some 7 conference contributions. His current research interests lie in wireless multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) technology (antenna selection, base-station cooperation).
