Joongheon Kim

First employment after Ph.D. graduation: Standards Scientist at Intel Corporation (Santa Clara, California, USA)


Joongheon Kim graduated from the University of Southern California (USC) with one Ph.D. degree (computer science) and two M.S. degrees (electrical engineering, computer science with specialization in high performance computing and simulation) in August 2014 under the guidance of Professor Andreas F. Molisch as a member of Wireless Devices and Systems Group. Joongheon Kim also graduated from Korea University with M.S. and B.S. degrees (computer science and engineering) in 2006 and 2004, respectively. Prior to joining USC, he worked for LG Electronics CTO Office from January 2006 to August 2009 as a research engineer. During his Ph.D., he worked for InterDigital from May 2012 to August 2012, as an intern. He also worked for Intel Corporation from September 2013 to August 2014, as an intern.
