Mr. Vivek Sankaravadivel received his bachelor of engineering (B.E.) degree in electronics and computer engineering from Anna University, Chennai, India in 2007. After completing his B.E., he worked on design and development of GPS receivers for various applications in navigation, surveillance, and timing. He joined USC in Fall 2010 for his master of science (M.S.) in electrical engineering with an emphasis on wireless communications and signal processing. During the summer of 2011, he interned at Qualcomm Inc., Santa Clara, California where he worked on measurement error modeling for combined GPS+GLONASS receivers. At USC, he was involved in investigating the feasibility of high-speed multi-gigabit/s wireless data transfer in 60 GHz band in collaboration with Mr. Joongheon Kim. He is interested in finding PHY layer solutions to challenges in radio communications. Now, he is a Senior Engineer at Qualcomm, Santa Clara, California since February 2012.
