Daoud Burghal received his B.Sc in Electrical Engineering from University of Jordan in 2007 and M.Sc in the same field from University of Southern California, in May 2009. After two years as systems and network engineer, he joined Takada-Lab at Tokyo Institute of Technology as research student. Since Jan. 2012, he has been with WiDeS group at University of Southern California, working toward the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering.
Daoud research interests are in the broad area of wireless communications and networking, it mainly includes cross layer design, sparse and stochastic signal processing, and algorithm design for and Device to Device communications and sensor networks.
